26-letni Celjan Jernej Kruder se je s plezanjem pobliže spoznal že v osnovni šoli in hitro vzljubil ta šport. Po spoznavanju z umetnimi stenami v Celju se je lotil tudi balvanov in leta 2014 postal svetovni podprvak v svoji paradni disciplini. Istega leta ga je Olimpijski komite Slovenije nagradil kot najuspešnejšega športnega plezalca v Sloveniji.
